Wine & Spirits Weigela is a compact rounding deciduous shrub with dense glossy near black foliage.  Blooms of crisp white funnel-shaped flowers begin in late spring and return again with a lighter bloom in summer.  Fall color and fruit are insignificant.  Best flowering and color with full sun and rich, moist well-drained soils. Can tolerate some light shade.
