Woodard Rabbiteye Blueberry is a vigorous deciduous shrub that flowers and ripens early with good production.  The large silvery-blue berries are very tart until fully ripe, then they become sweet and tender. The elliptical medium green foliage turns scarlet red in fall. The white flower clusters bloom early spring. Grows best with full sun and rich, moist acidic well-drained soils.  Woodard has a low chill requirement and is disease resistant.
