Tifblue Rabbiteye Blueberry is a vigorous tall upright deciduous shrub with high chill requirement and good production of excellent sweet light blue blueberries that ripen midseason.  Tifblue berries are very tart until fully ripe but turn blue before peak ripeness- pick when the red on the berry is fully gone.   The elliptical bright green foliage turns bright red in fall. Grows best with full sun and rich, moist acidic well-drained soils.  Tifblue should be planted with others to cross-pollinate to increase yield.
