Description
Persian Shield is a soft-stemmed tropical plant grown for its dark green foliage flushed with iridescent metallic purple and purple undersides. Tiny spikes of violet flowers may appear on overwintered plants. Best color occurs in part shade and consistently moist well-drained soils. Tolerates wet soils.
