  • Description

Berggarten Sage is a compact woody perennial herb used for culinary and medicinal purposes.  The strongly aromatic  grey-green leaves are topped by short flower spikes with tiny blue flowers in spring.  Sage in the garden deters many pests while attracting beneficial pollinators. Grows best in full sun and well draining soil.  Drought tolerant once established.

Sage has been valued to aid digestion, colds, sore throats and inflammation. Use in the kitchen to round off a savory dish or add complexity to a beverage.*
