Grandiflorum Catawba Rhododendron is a compact evergreen shrub with a dense mounding habit and deep green foliage that emerges bright green.  Large clusters of long lasting lavender flowers with ginger speckles bloom in mid spring.  Best grown in part sun and rich, moist, acidic well-drained soils.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance.  Water Regularly.  Mulch in winter.  Proper care and air circulation should prevent most pest and disease problems.
