Red Hot Crape Myrtle is a compact tree with an upright habit and intense inky black foliage that holds its color in summer.  Large contrasting panicles that open white and rapidly become rich red bloom throughout summer until frost.  Prefers full sun and moist, well-drained soil. Red Hot is drought tolerant and has high mildew resistance.
