Robin Holly is a dense pyramidal evergreen shrub with spiny leaves that emerge maroon-red in spring and gradually turns a very dark green as it matures.   Robin is a female cultivar with inconspicuous flowers that give way to bright red berries in fall.  Best planted in moist, slightly acidic well-drained soils.
