Auburn Holly is a large dense pyramidal evergreen shrub with large glossy foliage that resembles serrated magnolia leaves.  Large fist sized clusters of  red fruits last through winter if pollinated. Best planted in moist, slightly acidic well-drained soils.  Hollies are dioecious and need both male and female plants to produce fruit.  Drought tolerant once established.
