Raspberry Truffle Echinacea is a freely branching native perennial with strong upright mahogany stems that do not need staking and dark green foliage. The fully double fragrant flowers have drooping coral pink petals with darker pink pom-pom center cones and bloom from late spring and can sporadically continue to bloom until frost.  Thrives in full sun and well-drained soils.  The double flowers may attract less butterflies and bees, but spent stems will stay erect and attract birds if not removed.  Drought tolerant.
