Hamlin Orange is a compact fruit-producing evergreen shrub  that has an attractive spring bloom and produces a high yield of mid-sized, nearly seedless fruits in fall. The fruits themselves are easy to peal and are highly juicy and sweet with low acidity. Grows best in full sun and deep, evenly moist, sandy to loamy well-drained acidic soils.  Cannot tolerate frost.  Hamlin is self-pollinating.
