Sprinter Boxwood is a dwarf evergreen shrub with a dense upright rounded habit and lustrous green leaves that maintain its color in winter.  Inconspicuous flowers.  Prefers sunny to partial shade areas in well-drained soils.  Drought tolerant once established.  Sprinter is an improved, fast-growing sport of Winter Gem that quickly fills in.
