Crimson Sunset Norway Maple is a beautiful slow-growing deciduous tree with a dense upright pyramidal habit that opens with age and richly colored palmate foliage that holds its color through the summer heat and humidity. This foliage emerges a saturated crimson that matures to deep purple-maroon, then gets rich maroon-crimson tones in fall. Grows best in moist well-drained soils. Crimson Sunset is more tolerant of heat and humidity, and is resistant to leaf burn.
