Autumn Fire Japanese Maple is a small deciduous tree with a weeping habit and long lasting fall color that can hold into winter.  The long, deeply dissected lace-like palmate leaves are lush green and turns fiery shades as it transitions to red in fall.  Small non-showy umbels of red flowers bloom mid-spring followed by samaras.  Grows best in rich, moist, slightly acidic well-drained soils.
